|pen_dragon||10:13 pm - Graduate woes|
See Jake procrastinate.
Procrastinate, Jake, Procrastinate.
See Jake realize Dr. Kaplan's portfolio is due in two weeks.
Panic, Jake, Panic.
I wouldn't stress it.
Notice how he puts fluffy (usually one word comments) comments on the work you hand in throughout the term? Good! Great! Insightful!
Meet his portfolio assessment.
When you hand it in, you'll get a brief letter included at the front of it, praising you for your work and telling you what a wonderful teacher you'll be.
In short, very little return on the invested time, outside of the grade. Fluff the minimum for his grade contract and be ready for a love fest...
Good to know - I'm padding where I can, still a metric tonne of writing though in his damned TNR 12 single space.
Does he still do art class for the first hour every night?
I love listening to him speak, but I leave every night wondering if he ever taught High School any time in the last decade or so.
*chuckles* No, he hasn't. He last taught high school in the 80's with the gen-X'ers. A majority of the UCF faculty didn't start working with Gen Y until they made their way into the university around 2002.
If I could change the past, I wouldn't have done my grad work in education at UCF. I'll leave it at that in a public forum... ;)
